An American writer and newspaperman credited for being the creator of the Baker Street Irregulars. 

April 1, 1894 - September 17, 1960

Succeeded Morley as the leader of the Baker Street Irregulars until his death in 1960. He edited 53 issues of the Baker Street Journal and 5 Christmas Annuals.

October 10, 1913 - October 3, 1994

Inspirational humorist and promoter of his Baker Street Irregulars. His lectures and writings brought joy to many. He had at one time amassed the largest collection of Sherlockiana in the world.

February 17, 1888 - August 24, 1957

His 1912 publication "Studies in the Literature of Sherlock Holmes" paved the way for our Grand Game. As an author of detective novels, he also created the "golden rules" for contemporary writers to follow.

American writer, newspaperman and bibliophile. He is known for his early Sherlockian studies and biography, "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" and the evocative sonnet, "221B." 

Suggested for inclusion by Brenda Rossini, Allan was the founder of the Pinkerton Detective Service. A Pinkerton mole figures prominently in the "Valley of Fear." Brenda is the author of "Graceland Cemetery: A Sherlockian Walk Midst the Tombstones."
